ECO FRIENDLY UNIQUE JEWELLERY FROM RECYCLED GOLD AND SILVER AND ETHICALLY SOURCES DIAMONDS
WHY WE USE RECYCLED METALS

Our objective is to diminish the negative impacts of dirty gold by reducing the demand for newly mined metals.

Every piece we cast is made with recycled and re-refined precious metals. Because our reclaimed silver and gold, are refined back into their pure elements, they are of identical quality to newly mined metals.

GOLD PURITY

Gold used in jewelry fabrication is mixed with other metals to give it greater durability, hardness and its particular color.

-
24 karat = 1000 %pure gold: Too malleable and soft for jewelry.
-
22 karat = 917 gold: Not recommended for jewelry that is worn every day and that would get a lot of wear.
-
18 karat = 750 gold: Considered "fine" jewelry. Suitable for rings, depending upon your life style.
-
14 karat = 585 gold: Suitable for all jewelry.
STERLING SILVER

Fine silver, also known as "pure silver" is too malleable and soft for jewelry. Our recycled silver is mixed with 7.5% copper to create "sterling silver". Sterling silver is 92.5% fine silver, which is the accepted standard for modern sterling silver jewelry.

Same quality results but more environmentally friendly
WHY WE USE "CONFLICT FREE" DIAMONDS

The Kimberley Process is the United Nations mandated agreement between diamond-producing countries, major manufacturers and non-governmental organizations. It requires that Certificates of Origin be attached to all rough diamonds to ensure they come from verified conflict-free sources.
Today, over 99% of the world's supply of diamonds is from sources free of conflict, along with how diamonds are driving economic growth and prosperity in countries around the world.
